After years of manually managing their space, Gap is benefiting from a centralized platform for their global real estate.
Gensler’s relationship with Gap started over 45 years ago. After decades of collaboration, Gensler has completed over 700 stores for the company, spanning work on all 50 states, the U.S. and around the globe. Gap’s relationship with Wisp began in 2014 when the Corporate Real Estate team began their search for a better way to maintain floor plans, seating charts, and occupancy data for their workplace.
Since 2014, Wisp has become core to the Real Estate and Facilities team for strategic space planning and managing everyday moves, adds, and changes. They are leveraging the full suite of Wisp features including drag and drop icons, and scenario planning.
Today, Gap’s international locations have been onboarded and trained to manage their workplaces in Wisp—providing a centralized platform for real estate reporting, strategy, and oversight.
A centralized real estate portfolio empowers each location to manage their workplace seating and floor plans, while providing the Corporate Real Estate team with insight into metrics and data at a portfolio level.
