Gensler’s relationship with this client began in 2011 when, in the early stages of planning a headquarters renovation, they realized the need for up-to-date floor plans and headcounts to inform the programming of their new campus.
Upon loading their data into Wisp, our team had the information needed to develop industry benchmarking to create both short and long term planning strategies, as well as optimized universal planning standards for the entire campus.
Upon completion of the project, the client adopted Wisp as its space management software. Beginning with their headquarters space, they quickly saw the value of a holistic, portfolio-wide view into their real estate and have added 54 international locations.

Each departments utilizes Wisp to request moves, adds and changes—providing the corporate facilities team a view across the campus and insight into departmental needs.
When floor plans change—due to reconfiguration, adding or removing stations, or general space updates—the client has unlimited access to Gensler’s CAD team, who maintains their drawings. They simply notify their account manager of the changes and the CAD drawings are updated within Wisp by an experienced team of CAD technicians. This ensures that their floor plans are drawn consistently across the entire portfolio, adding another layer of accuracy to the reporting metrics based off of the polylines.
Today, the client continues to benefit from the “great product, and excellent customer service team,” as stated by the corporate real estate manager.
